Have an active role in your health this summer and take advantage of the wonderful resources and programs listed below that are offered by the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness and available on campus.
1. Summer SlimDown
UA faculty, staff and adult family members interested in improving physical endurance, strength and balance while managing weight are encouraged to join the 2013 Summer SlimDown. This two-month program begins June 1st and combines twice-weekly small group personal training session with twice-monthly check-ins with a nutrition coach. The cost is $99 for UREC members and $149 for non-members. Space is limited so register now! 5th Annual Summer Family Makeover program is a five-week program that focuses on healthy eating and increased physical activity, while limiting screen time and sugar sweetened beverages. Open to UA faculty, staff, students and their spouses and families. Prize drawings will also be held throughout the program. Register NOW by clicking here.
