National Walking Day is happening soon and we’re ready to get moving! On Wednesday, April 2 there are multiple times and locations to make it easy for everyone to join. Whether you prefer an early morning stroll, a lunch break walk, or an afternoon step session, there’s a spot for you!
Between 10am-1pm, you can start at the Walk of Champions, Welcome Center, or University Medical Center.
Between 3-4pm, you can start at the Employee Resource Center, located at 1515 Flint River Drive.
Walking is one of the simplest ways to boost your health. Just a few minutes at a time can improve mood, reduce stress, and support heart and muscle health. So, grab a coworker, bring your walking shoes, and make National Walking Day your day to move! Let’s make April 2 another step toward a healthier campus. You will receive 10 points toward your WellBAMA rewards.
