4 Snacks for an Energy Boost

We recently hosted a wellness webinar all about energy, caffeine consumption, and nutrition called Beyond Caffeine: Embrace Nutrition for Long Lasting Energy. Caffeinated drinks like coffee, Red Bull, and Celsius can give you a quick burst of energy when you need it, but this doesn’t last that long and having too much caffeine can negatively affect your health. Instead, opt for fresh fruits and veggies, nuts or seed, and lots of water to keep you going all day.

Instead of reaching for the caffeine, try these 4 energy-boosting snacks that include 1 protein source and 1 carb source:

Plain Greek yogurt, fruit, & granola
Apple slice & peanut butter
Crackers with meat & cheese
Nuts & dried fruits
