Briefly introduce yourself and share a bit about your background

I have been living in Tuscaloosa for almost six years. I am the youngest of four girls and my sisters are my best friends. I love spending time with my family, going to the beach and the mountains. I enjoy running, hiking, white water rafting, reading, puzzles, and games.

What were some challenges or obstacles you encountered during your wellness journey?

Some challenges I have encountered during my wellness journey are: finding nutritious unprocessed foods, satisfying cravings and hunger without overeating, and sleeping through the night so my body and brain function optimally.

Which wellness practices or habits have you incorporated into your routine? 

I exercise daily, drink only water, pack my lunch every day, and have cut out caffeine completely.

What specific wellness program has had a positive impact on you? 

I have chosen a wellness program that helps me focus on nutrients, minerals, and other essential elements for proper organ function, muscle recovery, and energy.

What advice would you give to someone who is just starting their wellness journey? 

I would recommend researching nutrients in foods and how they benefit your body. It can make it easier to make healthy food changes when one understands the positive impact on the human body.

What was the last random act of kindness you did?

I made fruity pebble rice krispy treats for a friend in need.
