Briefly introduce yourself and share a bit about your background.
My name is Anna and I’m the Administrative Assistant in the COE Dean’s Office! Outside of work, I live on a small farm with horses, chickens, turkeys, dogs and a couple of barn cats! I am very passionate about everything I do and give God the glory!
What were some challenges or obstacles you encountered during your wellness journey?
One thing that challenged me this summer during the mid morning walks was the heat! I almost sat out a couple of times but decided to conquer it and thankfully I did every time!
Which wellness practices or habits have you incorporated into your routine?
I have enjoyed the mid morning walks every Wednesday and tend to walk every day when possible!
What specific wellness program has had a positive impact on you?
Mid morning walks has had the most positive impact on me because it not only allows you to clear your mind for a moment but you can grab a friend and make it fun!
How has your wellness journey influenced your daily life, including work, relationships, and overall well-being?
The wellness journey has had a positive impact in each area! Walking is a stress relief and it also helps me to sleep at night!
What was the last random act of kindness you did? (i.e left a kind note, volunteered time, gave a compliment, shared homemade treats, etc.)
I always like to bring in either a sweet or salty treat to work for my office! We may not need them but they sure do put a smile on everyone’s face!
