Summer Family Makeover

A 5-week program designed to inspire UA employees, spouses and their children to live healthier lives. Over the course of 4 weeks, families are asked to participate in the 5-2-1-0 Challenge. The challenge consists of incorporating the following guidelines into your families daily routine:

  • Eat at least 5 fruits/vegetables
  • Limit screen time to 2 hours or less
  • Increase physical activity to 60 minutes
  • Consume 0 sugary drinks.

This program includes a health promoting starter kit, weekly activities and events, nutritional counseling, weekly tips/recipes, daily food and activity logs, connections to additional campus and community resources, and prize drawings.


12 Days of Wellness

De-stress at the end of the semester with the 12 Days of Wellness where special wellness activities and classes will be offered around campus to help you relax, enjoy the holidays, and find balance in your life. Activities offered include chair massage, yoga classes, massage therapy sessions, and many others. Coming in December!


Strive for Five

This Team-based program is designed to improve your health in five easy steps. Weekly check-ins allow you to improve how you MOVE, EAT, DRINK, THINK, LOSE by focusing on one of these health challenges and adding on another each week.
